White Hall Fields secured their first player in English center back Sylvanus Bockarie. Sylva was one of the bright spots on the English team roster in this recent KCAFF World Cup tournament and hopes to bring White Hall Fields much success.
We asked Mr. Bockarie a few questions to better know the new White Hall Fields center back.
WHF: What was the greatest challenge you faced in your football career? Greatest accomplishment?
Bockarie: Greatest challenge I have faced in my football career was come back from ACL injury, more so the mental side versus the physical was really tough. Greatest accomplishment was making 1st team debut with Burton Albion FC.
WHF: What footballer did you look up to growing up?
Bockarie: I looked up to a lot of players growing some of my favorites were Ledley King, Jermain Defoe, Bacary Sagna, & Alex Song.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of sports?
Bockarie: I have a toddler and a baby, and I enjoy playing with them and trying to pass down my love for football (soccer) to them. I enjoy DIY around the house and traveling.
There couldn't be a greater addition to White Hall Fields than Sylva and we cannot wait to see him on the pitch this spring!
